Pros and cons of Smart Sleep Polyphasic Planner app for iPhone and iPad

Smart Sleep Polyphasic Planner app good for

Really useful, adaptation program is great and everything is configurable! I just hate the shaking game at wake up ! Thanks for this app !
This app is great. It looks gorgeous and is easy to use . Ive been using it for a little over two weeks now but this morning I accidentally slept in and missed my 3-5 am waking period and sleep right on through my 5-7 am nap. Theres no way to enter that I was asleep in the stats and the app is trying to tell me I missed my nap and post pone it. It would be nice if the app could track movement like the sleep cycle app does to try and help visualize the kind of sleep you are getting in your naps. Love the wake up games
Great app, I love it. However, it could use some additional games like scanning a QR code thats next to a sink. Also the ability to shuffle a playlist for your alarm instead of playing just one track would be pretty nice as well, or maybe even radio integration. The app is great but for the price, I feel it could use more features.
The app itself is very great, Ive been waiting for it for so long. Cant wait for a russian language support to be added:)
Just do it! Instead of complaining in app reviews. This language is common and actually simple. Very simple in user interfaces. App is good, but why it cant work in background?

Some bad moments

I have downloaded this app to track my polyphasic sleep pattern, because it seems to be the sole app to do this. Right on the first minutes, I have noticed it was nothing else than a clock for you to see your own polyphasic plan, but nothing else that worth a comment. No problem, I didnt pay a dime for that... After a few days, I have received a charge of 5 dollars for this app. WHAT?! Does not waste your time (and money with this).
I had been reading this guy’s blog posting and articles for months trying to figure out the best way to transition into it. But now there is an App for that #PraiseScience
I liked the concept of this app as I was looking to transition to a biphasic sleep pattern. There are a few minor bugs with it, which is expected with any new app. These include playing alarm after turning it off; some menu items do not respond to touching; etc. This was the loss of half a star. I am also looking for a more customizable program. The guided program has short adjustment periods of 2 weeks and starts you off at 2 3 hour naps. From the research I had done I wanted to start with a 4 week adjustment periods and 6 hours of overnight sleep and one 30 minute nap. However to do this I had to manually set up the sleeping times, which then seems to disable some of the adjustment tracking. So this was the loss of another half a star. The other 2 stars I took away because of the massive battery hog this app is. Ive lost over 40% battery life over a 6 hour sleep cycle. This is unforgivable when it is the only active app running overnight. Even using airplane mode doesnt seem to help that much with about a 30% drain overnight. This means the phone must be plugged in overnight, which is not recommended for sustaining the lifespan of the battery. If they battery drain issue is fixed in an update, I will adjust this score to 4 stars.
Bumped down stars after my initial review. Its not as flexible as I thought itd be. Id like to save schedules (presets) as well as make the app track my custom schedule not just what it suggests. [1 star] Id also appreciate a method of exporting statistics so I can view them on my computer as well (excel type) [1 star] Also, it is preset to only adapt to an E3 schedule when itd be much more widely useable if it allowed any of the more common schedules to be set as the desired schedule. [1 star] Since the app is going to be close to us anyway, a nice bonus feature would be to track sleep quality.
I travel from the west coast to the east coast regularly and retain my sleep schedule...but the app adjusts to the local time and continues to try to shift my pattern by 3hrs. I ignore it, but this should be fixed... Polyphasic sleep is awesome because I DONT need to adjust my sleeping for new time zones. It would be nice if the app supported this too.
I think the plugin developer just does not look over this app anymore. I requested bug fixes to fix issues that make the app impossible to use like 4 months ago. Was told theyd be implemented within a month which never happened. Paid $5 for this which is higher than most apps. Would be nice if work was actually done to the app. Now its essentially useless.
